Default Ranking Drops!!! What's Next?

The common question when your website rankings go down, what you first check? Google Penalty check, links working or not? site health or something else? And how you fix them?

Check for your competitor back links and also check who all rank before your site for the specific keywords and find the internal links of your competitor too.

The First where the Mind Set is "oh shitttt... probably new update let me check it ... " as many update in row that badly effect with search ranking of many websites . Then find Which update and what targeted this time and Analyse website linking , optimization etc ..

The first thing I look at is competitor activity.

I tend to complete SEO without focussing on low quality backlinks, so when I am looking at changes in rank it is more likely to be because someone else has appeared or an update has taken place than penalties and the like from Google.

All the best.

If your site ranking is dropping then you should work on content development mainly, you have to post fresh content regularly for better result, I would say.
