Default Yahoo search results vs google search results.

As I was promoting my sites I found out a very interesting similarity between google search results and yahoo. Initially my high ranking keywords was found on google within three months and in yahoo it was not even indexed. Later on while the results on google came to first two pages yahoo started indexing my pages....

And now after say 5-6 months later my results are almost same on yahoo and google.

I used think yahoo was very unique and need different strategy to get good search results there, but it s very clear that all search engines just follow google.

Yahoo and Bing will take more time to index the pages.

You have to keep doing link building regularly but don't build too many links in one day, it would help a lot.

I have always found it easier and a lot faster to get indexed on Yahoo! than any other search engine, so I do not think it is as easy as saying that all search engines follow Google. There are so many factors that could distort any findings. It may vary depending on age of website, current traffic, past traffic, current trends, so many different things. so it would be really tough saying one way or the other for sure. Well without asking Google and hoping they give an honest answer anyway.

In the days of the eight major search engines, there were many varied factors used in an effort to rank well in each one of those......

Different engines "like" different things....simple thoughts..

But since the G has moved to the top of the list, I have found that SEO for G seems to be well accepted by both Bing and Yahoo......
Of course, now that Y is "buying" search info from B.......you just have to wonder..
But I have had a couple of my projects indexed much faster in Y & B....

Although, on one occasion I had a blog indexed in Google in ten minutes.....a real shocker.....)))
