I recently built a site vs having it outsourced, just for the challenge of it. Never did that before and used wordpress, which was actually a pain as I'm not used to designing a site let alone using wordpress for a static site... once you get used to it it gets easier, and I liked how they had the html box to view so you could add or change code. I learned quite a bit flip flopping from visual to html, still have a lot to learn but I like a challenge.

Default Is PHP hard to learn?

It is easy to learn just you have the basic knowledge of the programming ans web-design. Because it's a web-design software. And it is a open source. IT have a normal fundamental so that other people can easily work on that.

PHP is like any other programming language. The best way to learn it is to understand the underlying concepts of a language of its type. I always think the hardest part of programming is knowing how to actually code out what to do in the syntax you use.

As my opinion, PHP is not much hard. To learn PHP, it is very important to learn C and C++ languages because these are the common languages of this programming language. PHP is good to learn and it can easily learn after basic code understanding.
