Default Wordpress

How many people out there are using wordpress for their blogs? I wrote a great article a little while back that got featured on the admin panel of all the wordpress blogs about how wordpress was a great versatile blogging platform with so much more potential than just a blog. You can use wordpress to emulate twitter, be a link directory and much more. Anyways, who here has used wordpress?

Also, what do you like best about it?

I use wordpress, I love it. It's so easy to use and like you said versatile. With all the plugins available for it, the possibilities are endless really.

I have a few affiliate sites built on wordpress.

Well there are a bunch really LOL

I'm a HUGE lover of the phpbay plugin - this lets you turn your blog into a ministore, populated with ebay listings.

I also like the exec-php so you can execute php in the blog, I use this to pull data from golden can.

the seo plugins are great too.

phpbay costs money, doesn't it? Yeah, I have a bone to pick with eBay, they banned my partners account from using the United States affiliate program. Rather aggravating. You can already execute php on your blog if you use the right coding....haha!

I love those SEO plugins. All in one seo is my favorite.

WordPress is a great option for people looking to host a blog on their own domain for free. It also has a very dedicated set of users who contribute code to the product and answer questions in its forums. If you want to make money from blogging, however, you should look elsewhere for a hosted offering that allows ads, or find one of the many hosting providers that will install the full WordPress software on their servers.

Yes, PHPbay costs money, but if you use eBay to make money then it's well worth it. The creator of phpbay is now working on one that works with amazon too !

I'm excited for that plugin to be released
