Default Odesk vs Elance

I am a web designer and am tired of working full time for someone else, I want to quite and try freelancing online, I have already established two freelancing sites, Odesk and Elance, which one is the best for web designers. I want to concentrate on only one so that I can build my profile.

I've always found great success with freelancer and odesk because they have a large pool of talent. The main key is turning these freelancers into team members because that's where the true growth / partnerships are formed.

You have grabbed some popular freelance website, the thing is you should be active on those freelance sites, fill all the profile details, your bid should be reasonable, when you get any project, you should communicate with your client politely and professionally...

I like to suggest that you should go for Odesk.com. It is quite better than Elance.
But you will have to be active on this website, Create a Outstanding Portfolio and also you can try some online tests and try to achieve the highest marks.

Odesk and Elance are doing okay so any of them can be a good catch for your online career. Both have tons of projects from different clients.

Here are great ideas for Buying a House in Adelaide.

Be aware that Elance and Odesk merged last December, and although they're still operating as individual sites for the time being they're both now under the same ownership. The management have repeatedly said that no changes are going to happen but many of the freelancers themselves aren't convinced about this and view the merger with alarm.

The rates of pay at Odesk tend to be lower than those of Elance and it's generally assumed that this merger is the first step towards bringing Elance's average rates down to the same general levels as those of Odesk. It's also generally assumed that at some point in the future one of these sites will be absorbed into the other. If this happens it really won't matter which of them you now choose to concentrate on as eventually you'll be a member of the unified site.
