How do you keep a backup version of your website?

I would like to know, How do you keep a backup version of your website? Which is the easiest way to do this, please suggest me

just zip your file or just goto the cpanel of your website and there is an option making backup of the website. you can use that too.

I'm currently hosting my web platforms on DigitalOcean.

They have an option to automatically backup your instances for around $5 per month (I think it depends on the size of your hard drive) but in any way it's really good value.

The backup is once per week.
