Try hubpages, squidoo, and ehow. I just don't know if you will be compensated well but as far as I know they offer some commissions so probably they are worth trying. If you really want to earn money and you are a good writer then Elance and Odesk have tons of job for you.

No, there are various article jobs on these sites as i also write articles and get paid here, you cant say that these sites are only for webdesign.

Have you tried using LinkedIn? You could also check out Media Bistro, Morning Coffee Newsletter and ProBlogger Job Board. I didn't have any experience with any, but my friends have and say these sites are okay.
