That was a serious question. Is it really necessary to tell people to mark their links with "click here"? Quite frankly, that seems like a troll post.
However, your color testing is very interesting.

Have you ever heard of a call to action?
No, well, I suggest you read up on them otherwise you're missing out on one of the most powerful marketing tools avaliable.
I don't know why you are challenging something you have no understanding of (on MY forum!!).

Another good Call to Action is "Read More". When selling a product, there are some people who purchase right away. Then there are some who always want more information. Having a read more button can definitely increase conversions because it gives the customer more valuable information about your product.

Yes this is very important. For example, nowadays QR codes are popular. However, many businesses just simply place a QR code without a call to action. This does not give me an incentive to scan it. If under the QR code, there was something like "scan to receive free __" then you will get so many more responses.

Of course you must use click here .......... . It makes sense and obviously it works otherwise many of us here now would be somewhere else!!!!!
For SEO purposes it is best to include the "click here" in a phrase and link the phrase.
Hope that makes sense to you all.

If you send someone an email and you want them to go to your website, and you have a link to it, ask your prospective buyer to click the link!
-or-
-or-
click here to watch this video
-or-
click the order button, enter your credit card details then you'll download it and be reading through it within 60 minutes and implementing what i say.
Try this technique out, it works very well. This is only to get you warmed up in the psychology part of the forum, i'll be getting into some more serious aspects that can dramatically increase your conversions (number of people who TAKE ACTION and BUY)

These "buttons" work best if they are placed at the bottom of a well-written and concise marketing copy that explains the benefits of the product/service.

Beside this, the page should be clean, easy to read and provide trust elements. The C2A button can have many colors, like green, orange, red but it has to be unique (never used in the same screen) so it will have better visibility

Yes, Call to Action is one of the best things lately. It is very useful because people generally like to be told what to do. Gives them a sense of making a difference and being proactive. If you're giving away for free something educational that is even better.

I don't think so that color of button can effectively change or anything to do with call to action.
