Both of them have different working:

Bounce Rate determines the traffic leaving your website from the page they landed in the first place without navigating to any other page.

Exit Rate is the percentage of traffic leaving your website after visiting two or more pages.

The main difference between them are exit rate is the percentage of visits that were the last in the session whereas bounce rate is the percentage of visits that were the only one of the session.

Both are important for your site, If your site has a high bounce rate then you need to find why visitors come to the site and leave right after, without clicking or taking any action on your website.

Bounce Rate:

Bounce Rate is the percentage of single-page sessions in other words the percentage of visitors who leave your website after viewing only one page.

Exit Rate:

Exit Rate is the percentage of visitors who leave your website from a particular page, after having visited another page on your site
