According to me exit rate is best rather than bounce rate.I bounce rate what happend user just come on website and without surfing close whereas in case of exit rate .the visitor see the all website and close...thats why i prefer exit rate

Hi Senior!
First clear your question first. What is the meaning of importance for you?
Both are important lesser the bounce rate is good and also lesser the exit rate from the blog, article or any landing page by which we are going to provide some value or want the leads, lesser exit rate is good.

First you should concentrate on Bounce rate first by creating appropriate content int the website to hold the visitors and to convert them as your customers. once you decrease the ounce rate aromatically exit rate will also be decreased.

Both are equally important metrics. Bounce rate is usually associated with user's experience with content or products or anything like that whereas, Exit rate is more to do with conversion funnel.

therefore, both metrics are equally important for SEO analysis.
