Default Tips for Good Web Designing

Professional Layout Design: Ensure that your site is professionally designed with lots of white spaces.Take extra efforts to use fonts that would be available in all machines.

Simple Navigation: Navigation of links is a key area in site designing. Focus on a uniform site navigation before site designing, so that we do not forget to add links later. Try using drop down menus for your main topics in case there are too many links.

Minimum Load Time: For optimum load time minimize using graphics and flash. Also see to that your site doesn’t have any unwanted HTML tags.

Suitable for all screen Resolutions: Ensure that the site is designed
in a way that it is visually appealing for all resolutions.

Compatible for all Browsers:Test if the site functions correctly in
all the browsers like IE,Mozilla,Opera,Netscape

Good tips on webdesign...

I'm wondering if you could shed some light on loading speeds...I have a page with a lot of images and I was wondering if you knew the javascript that would speeds up the load process.

I'm not sure that white spaces on a website are always a good idea. Well thought through design with particlar attention paid to usability is a hugely important factor.

When I am looking at designing a site for the first time I think about a few things:

Clear content
User friendly information
Meta information
Optimised images
Keyword use
Links

And many other things.

Hope this is helpful.

According to me, Web design must have simple navigation. Navigation of links is a key area in site designing. Focus on a uniform site navigation before site designing, so that we do not forget to add links later. You should try using drop down menus for your main topics in case there are too many links.

Your code should pass validation, meeting basic standards. Saves time later.
