Bounce rate is a number on a scale of 1 to 100 where if you have a low bounce rate a visitor when to another page of your website. A high bounce rate they left the page by typing a new url, pressing the back button, of hit a link on your site that went to another page. A high bounce rate does not mean a site is bad, but could be a site with adsense where they want them to click on the links, for example.

Simply put, bounce rate is an Internet marketing phrase used in the analysis of website traffic. It is used to describe visitors that land at a webpage on your site, then leave without accessing another page.

Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. Use this metric to measure visit quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors. The more compelling your landing pages, the more visitors will stay on your site and convert. You can minimize bounce rates by tailoring landing pages to each keyword and ad that you run. Landing pages should provide the information and services that were promised in the ad copy.

A bounce rate is the amount of time the visitor spends on your page. It helps test and determine how target your site is for your visitors. If your customers are leaving your site quickly you may want to make some changes to your site.

Bounce rate indicates the number of people who left your site without venturing further. IE after they clicked they got your home page and decided to leave. It is a helpful tool and could mean that the content on your target page doesn't meet the right requirements for the keywords.

As a result, this can cause a drop in rankings from Google, so it is worth keeping an eye on it.

Hello,
Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page.
A bounce can occur for several reasons, including:
The visitor hit the “Back” button on his browser.
The visitor closed his browser.
The visitor clicked on one of your ads.
The visitor clicked on one of your external links.
The visitor used the search box on his browser.
The visitor typed a new URL on his browser.
