Also remember there are 3 main aspects for SEO.
1. On-page optimization
Here we will optimize the page for SEO. Eg; Title with keywords, H1 and H2 tags, etc
2. Link Building
Build links using various methods.
3. Unique contents
Adding unique and useful contents to the website regularly.

simple way is that whatever activity you use, you should give quality instead of quantity. quality means high pr, instant approve and niche related back links.
