Default Can you review my SEO strategy?

Hi all,

I have a website that I would like to get to first page of google.co.uk with selected keywords (about 30 keywords). Unfortunately I don't have a big budget so I'll have to do the job myself with help of freelancers. Like we all I would like to succeed as soon as possible but I don't want to up set google in any way and be penalised. Could you review my plans and help me to get on the right track?

Here's what I'm planing to do on the monthly bases:

100 approved directory submissions
50 relevant one way links
10 articles with 30 submissions / article
3 press releases with 25 submissions / PR
50 forum posts
50 blog posts
Social bookmarking - 5urls with 100 submissions

I'm completely new to SEO so all help is very appreciated.

Best Regards

Before you look at any of these things I would strongly recommend looking at the content of the website itself and making sure it is appropriate and keyword rich (in the right places).

Check on things like images, meta info, links, duplicate pages / content etc. This will help to give you a quality score with google for your search terms.

Hello,
I completely agree with Sbonline. It is very important to make sure that you have a good level of quality content on your website. It will not only make your website look good, but will also get better views and visits on it.

Your list of tasks is absolutely fine, However it is only half the story. Equally important is the content in your articles, on your website and in your press releases etc. They must be relevent to your audience, original and useful.

Your blog and forum comments must also be providing useful information or adding to the conversation, avoid usless one liners like "Yeah, great post" this should not count as a link in my opinion. Good SEO is not just a bout the numbers.

The work what you have shared is enough for your website. So, don't worry and keep working.

As already mentioned, defo look at your content to make sure the keyword density is right as well making sure its not duplicate.

Another thing you should cut down on the number of keywords you are targetting in the beginning. For the amount of work you are doing I would focus on say 5-10 instead of 30.

We run a wordpress website. if you want to rank, i'm told its important your website is built using a technology that supports search engines and doesn't block them so the first thing is to make sure your website doesn't stop google otherwise it doesn't matter what else you do.

Talk to the MailGuy about mailing services, fulfilment services or if you're looking for a mail house in Melbourne, Australia.
