Best Effective Ways about Building Links?

I have been submitting my website and new pages as well as blogs to social bookmarking sites. However, I have only about 20 of them and keep submitting over and over.

It is good for new sites but old sites are not very effective.

What is the best effective ways about building links for websites?

I think that duplicate submission is not a good way to submit a social bookmarking site like

Please do not submit your website again and again to the same directory, otherwise it would be considered as an attempt of spamming the directory.

Have patience to get your website listed on the directories.

Link juice is the way of doing link building activities. Google looks at how sites link to each other to figure out which ones are the best.

Try to search new quality Social Bookmarking websites and their submit your links. Social Bookmarking is a good technique for build quality backlinks but other techniques are also important for build quality backlinks like
