Hi,

A friend and I are trying to put together a price comparison site.

As a result we need script (or scripts) (I'm guessing PHP but correct me if I'm waay off) to scrape information (product URL, thumbnail URL, price, specifications etc) from said sites on a regular basis and stick it into CSV format then another script to take said CSV files and sort them into one big database.

We're willing to contract the work out but want to make sure we're setting up the project right, asking the write questions along the way, looking out for the right things and not leaving anything to chance.

However, if it is possible for someone who is moderately strong to learn up some PHP and make a script I'm all up for that too.

This question should be ignored due to it's high level of stupidity. I've had a friend read to me from the pop-up book 'baby's first website' and I now know the process to follow.
