Hi Friends
I have taken linux web hosting from web hosting company in pakistan named www.700hosting.com
I am trying to install Wordpress though the cpanel wizard. It is asking me the database username and password can some one tell me how will i get the database username and password
secondly my web site is php based and also in my code to send email i need to provide smtp user/password how will i get this info
I am a novice and be thankful for the advice

To install wordpressyou have to first create a database and user through database creation wizard in cpanel and than use it in the wordpress wizard

Similarly for smtp user name in the cpanel first you will create an email address and than use that email address and its password as smtp username and password. i hoep it will help you

Your hosting company should be able to provide details of your database username and password. Typically these are sent to you on registration. They need to be entered into the wp-config.php file.
