Do you want to know about the Quick Mask Tool?

This tool is used as free hand tool and also if you want to select a particular area with this tool you can select easily.

CS2? Dude you should get cs5...so much more you could do!

but my fav short cut is cntrl+shift+N for new layer...

make sure you label all your layers too...

I use CS5 as well and find it far simpler than the older versions, however I think we all get used to the program we learn the most with.

My favourite shortcut has always been the + and - zoom in and out. Yes, I know its basic, but its very handy!

I have used normally photoshop cs 2 for editing of images. There are lots of sortcutes in this software like First Brush, Eraser Tool and Hand Too. These are very useful to CS5.
