Hi Would like to start a thread on Google Instant and anyones views or comments on how to best tackle this on PPC.

This is really true that PPC getting a negative effect of Google Instant because when people type the first alphabet it shows the result and both which count as impression and this decrease your CTR and you'll be charged higher for clicks.

1. Do not chose general words.
2. Try to put your keywords into the Phrase match.
3. Monitor every hour if you thing that there is a keyword which is general and getting impression but not clicked then remove it.

if you use [exact match] then each keyword should minimally count each impression instead of with phrase match which counts multiple keywords.

Its a lot of work to get all the different keywords you would find on broad match but its possible.

i think long tail keyword are more beneficial.
