Best way to get more affiliates for your product?

Hi:

My name is Isaac and although I've been working for years helping other businesses with their marketing (mainly e-mail marketing, offline marketing, conversion, persuasion, etc.) I'm fairly new to affiliate marketing, especially from the vendor perspective, in fact I finished my first product to sell just some days ago.

I'm a firm believer in the 80/20 principle, and I'd like to know if there are some vendors here and what has been their best strategy to get more affiliates for their products.

I hope to share my experiences along the way about what worked and I want to thank everybody in advance.

Have a quality product in a good niche. There are a lot of affiliates that look for the highest payout, but the compatability to the site is the key. Does your product compliment their site, would the viewers want your product? Find the right sites and contact the owners.

Hi there, agree with you princeq.. It depends on what kind of products you are trying to sell, look for the sites that suites your product..
