^ Interesting. I have heard of Twitter directories, but I didn't know they existed for each major city. I think Twitter is good for getting the word out about your service, but the character limit limits how much you can say about it. On facebook it's easier to go into more detail.

You should only expand your network with the target users, otherwise there is no point in using twitter. To get into such networks, you should put your twitter id in relevant forums so that people can add you only if they are looking for what you are to offer.

I just have to point out that twitter is a gold mine for traffic, although as I stated before may not be the traffic you want.

twitter is definitely the go to social media platform right now. Content is key but we can provide you with targeted followers that'll kick start and get you going. But you need to keep the content flowing otherwise people will lose interest.
