Get better results with face book

Face-book is one of the largest source of visitors on the planet and if you are not getting any results with your fans this might help, you won't see results overnight, but in time you will see results.

Everyone knows face-book is a social site, people are not going on face book to go shopping or buy your product they are there to socialize. So as marketers we have to socialize with tips and answering questions and be really helpful without selling anything.

We want to take visitors from face book and send them either to your squeeze page or your blog
where you can offer them more free tips and give them total value for nothing.

When you join Face book Groups Always post blogs of good content loaded with tricks and tips to help them out in what ever your niche is and don't sell right away take them to your blog where you can offer them some thing great there when ever you start posting good valuable content you will be noticed of an expert where people will want to follow you.

Good post mate.

The best point has to be about the frame of mind people are in when they are on facebook. Google etc are great as people are in buying mode whereas with facebook they are there to hangout and socialise. For this reason marketing strategies need to be different and cater for this.

Useful post - thank you for the tips.

I find that many social networking sites also respond and like "behind the scenes" content - showing them how things are made or recipes for a festive cake (obviously depending on what type of business you run!).

However, I have not linked a blog to FB before and will certainly consider it for the future.

Great insight Ian, especially seeing the need to market differently on a social networking site. We actually want people to like our company and what we do, not just press the "like" button on our page
