Sharing LIKES just for the sake of LIKING the page, doesn't work. You must have an affinity for the subject being talked about. Create, share and engage with the audience using interactive content strategy.

This sums up my thoughts. Too many people put too much stock just in the raw number of likes or followers.

I'd rather have 100 engaged followers/fans over one million who are not and just random.

If you want to build value in your social media networks, then you simply have to put some good honest work into it.
