Hi,

Tks for your post. I think that the best time it's during lunchtime. 100% of employee that eat in their offices, search twitter having lunch. And the 85% of the employees, who have been eating out.. when they return they search twitter/facebook.

Cheers,

Danette

There a many different factors to take into account to achieve this, such as time zones, the location of your followers, target audience, etc.
Here are a couple of tips for maximum exposure.

1. The Best Single Time to Tweet
According to research the best single time of day to tweet is 9:00am PST (Pacific Standard Time).
The reason for this is you’re hitting 3 major time zones at peak periods.
· People arriving at work on the West Coast of America and Canada, i.e. Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, etc
· It’s lunchtime (12:00 pm EST) on the East Coast of America, i.e. New York
· It’s end of the business day in the UK (5:00 pm GMT)

2. What time are most tweeters sending & reading tweets?
Again studies have shown more internet users are online for personal reasons (tweeting, checking internet banking, personal emails, etc) between the following time periods:

Weekdays
  • 11:30am – 12:15 pm before lunch
  • 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm after lunch
  • After 6 pm after work
Weekends
  • Sunday after 6pm
Hi,

This is really very useful information, I'll try it for online marketing. But I think the best time of tweet is during in lunch time!!!

Regards,
JamesA

Hello,
I feel that tweeting is an art and only if you do it correctly, you would be able to win the situation.
Here are few tools that you can use while tweeting:-
WhenToTweet - Drop your username into WhenToTweet and the app works out the stats for you. It will come up with a very easy to understand graph, detailing which time of the day you should start tweeting.

TweetStats - TweetStats is a comprehensive tool that provides more detailed best tweeting times. Among other things, the app tells you how many tweets per day you’re currently sending, what your tweet timeline looks like, and how many replies you send in comparison to original tweets.

Tweriod - The app takes into account a great number of different parameters, and calculates a very accurate result. Tweriod looks at both your tweets and those of your followers to provide the best times to tweet.
