If these people didn't sign up to your list and you've just purchased them, they won't be too happy to see your email and you could get yourself a bad name on the internet (people talk about spam these days on forums)
Depends where you got the list. If you built it yourself then there's some money to be made, but if you just FOUND it or what ever then it wont make you any money
