I am new to this forum, but I like your article and the points you made.
One thing I have found really helpful in writing original articles is to watch a few youtube videos on your subject, take notes and you will find that you can write a good post in a very short time submit is to Ezine articles and then spin it and submit to a lot more.

My experience with link exchanges and such is that it is a complete waste of time and energy. I am getting very little traffic from them(and no conversion at all), but I am getting a crap ton of spam to my email. I am not happy with this at all.

Dont forget social media sites, you can hit targeted groups and generate traffic this way too.

Depends what kindof traffic you are looking for. There are also 2nd tier PPC platforms such as 7search. Although often affiliated with CPA offers, it is traffic!

Thanks for the ideas.

But website exchnge links don't suit me as I like to present a profssional look to my site and I don't want links to other sites on it.

Forum posting works, but you will only ever get a few hits from it.
I have been on forums for years and I know.

Articles and Squidoo etc I have not really tried, and I must get on to them.

What we need are some good ways of getting LOTS of good hits.

These are great tips. I think I will apply some of your tips to my squidoo or to my lens since squidoo can also help you earn money. That is if you have a great lens. Hope this will work!
