market share and value???

Market share, is an important term in marketing...is it necessary that a company whose market share is greater even then it is not able to make highest value in the market???

in simple terms what is the difference between market share and market values of a company and how do these two effects your company performance???

Market share...how much if the market are you getting?
Market value..what is that worth? What can you get for it?

They normally do not effect performance...the effect net worth...
