Email Marketing Rules - Quick Question...
I pretty much understand the basic rules and regulations of email marketing with the opt-in/opt-out and various other stipulations that you need to follow.
I run an insurance website and just want to clarify an important situation. A user will enter all their information on the website to get an instant online quote. I would then like to send confirmation of this quote by an automated email to the customer if they have provided an email address.
I have no interest in further email marketing, I just want their email address to politely send them a copy of the quote they have just got on the website an nothing more. Can I get away with just putting a quick bit of info on the form such as "enter email address if you would like quote emailed to you" and this is sufficient or do I need to go through all the motions of opt-in/opt-out on the site and on the email even though there will be no further use of the email (if it makes any difference, it won't even be stored with the quote).
Any help appreciated, thanks...
