Default Email Deliverability Issues

I use a bulk email program, SendBlaster, to deliver emails to school districts using direct mode and COX smtp server (my business high speed ISP) as my secondary mode of delivery. When emailing schools, some districts receive my emails using the direct mode but sometimes I get something like, ‘unable to connect to smtp’, ‘smtp rejected’ or some error of that nature when I email to other school districts. Using the COX smtp server, I get reports that the email was delivered to those schools that reject the direct mode. However, I have been getting very few responses as the site that monitors my email deliveries, http://www.trackemailmarketing.com, reports that very few emails are read with no unsubscribers. I tend to believe that even the COX smtp server is having difficulty delivering to these school districts.

I have tried delivering html and text emails to these school districts with the same results. Before I emailing, I always run my emails through a system like Spam Assassin to make sure that my score is low.

It is my understanding that some school districts have very strict spam filters that eliminate spam as well as legitimate emails.

My questions are:

1) Would utilizing the services of a website specifically geared toward email delivery such as http://www.graphicmail.com be able to effectively send emails to the school districts that I cannot reach?
2) Would sending emails manually, one at a time without using a bulk email program, get my emails delivered? Is so, should I use html or text emails for best delivery? In addition, should I use Outlook or my aol account for best delivery?

Thanks.

yes you are right indeed you are facing problem with COX server.

I have few questions for you maybe i can help you in this case

How many emails you send through it and how frequently you send it like daily weekly.

About your qestions :-

1) it depends upon how many emails you want to send. and if your list is not long you can send it manually.

you can get services form www.graphicmail.com but we also provide same service with much more competitive price if you email frequently.

Thank you for your reply. I learned today from graphicmail.com that spam filters could be set to reject email sent by bulk email programs. This would explain why some schools accept emails sent via direct/SMTP and others reject emails altogether. In this case, I might have no choice but to email one at a time.

Do you concur with graphicmailcom's assessment? If so and if I emailed one at a time, to achieve the greatest deliverability level, do you recommend that I use Outlook or my aol account or text instead of html or does it matter?

If you do not concur with their assessment, please forward me the website address of your service.

Thanks.

Dear Friend,

They might be correct to some extent but it's not in your hand. you need to check your article in the template, it might have been having some word or letter which is voilating the email rules. we do provide service in which you can check if your email is according to the email blast rules or not. if it complies it will go ahead with all the isp.

I just visited your site and wasn't able to find your emailing service. I finally got the URL of your service after using your online chat. I was given this url: www.zincksoft.com/massemail.html. I was told that the new plans haven't been uploaded. I would appreciate it if you could email me the specs of your service to BSFNS2@aol.com. Thanks.
