Default Articles and Google

Hey Forum,

I have posted a lot of articles recently and I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what kind of time frame one can expect for google to crawl the internet and find the inbound links?

Cheers

Firstly, have you submit your URL to Google ? If you have not, submit it to Google at Add your URL to Google.

Secondly, you should submit a sitemap using Google Webmaster Tools. Google uses your Sitemap to learn about the structure of your site and to increase their coverage of your webpages.

I agree with Ron - getting the pages submitted via webmaster tools is crucial.

A good place to go for assistance with this is the Google Webmaster Forum where there is loads of advice on how to go about uploading the details required via ftp as well as how to create a sitemap.

All the best

It is a difficuly question to answer, because you really can't say with accuracy when Google is going to crawl the internet to find new pages, articles etc. One thing I do recommend you do is bookmark each new article as it gets approved in Delicious and StumbleUpon, and any other high ranking bookmarking sites you like. These tend to get picked up easier than lower ranked sites. Just make sure you read any bookmarking sites rules first before you go bookmarking everything in sight. Their rules do vary from one to another somewhat.

If you posted articles to those many content farms, it could be a very long time. Google discounts those content farms such as ezine articles that has nothing but ads surrounding your articles.

With the panda update many of these article directories that have massive ads have suffered greatly with rankings in Google. Google is not done yet with them either, a recent news article released by Google states sites with far too many ads will be de-indexed.

You are best syndicating your articles to sites that are built for what Google wants and are ad free.

This is a very good relation in between Google and article. It is increase the level of the traffic on the web page of the web site. Google is way of getting the traffic on the Article.

Getting articles indexed in google does take a little time. You never know when or where google where place your article in the SERPS. Make sure your article is keyword rich with the keyword you are looking to rank it for, but do not stuff your keywords. This will help with the on page SEO of your article. The second thing you should do is get quality backlinks to your articles through backlinking anywhere you can. Social bookmarking is a great place to start as well as blog commenting, and forum posting. Get that article out there and it will natural rank in the search engines. There really is no time limit on how fast google will index your article the best you can do is on page and off page SEO.
