Wordpress is one of the best if you are really eager to start blogging. Based on Alexa Site Ranking, globally Wordpress is on ranked 19 and Blogger is in ranked 8. Both are very useful and easy to navigate. And I am pretty sure, you can't be wrong when you start blogging with these two sites.
