Post How to avoid scams on ebay when selling to buyers

1. Always get delivery confirmation - in the case where the buyer attempts to claim back the money then you have proof. Make sure that it is one of paypal's approved couriers.

2. If you are getting an item collected in person make sure that they pay cash on delivery and you have someone with you at the time.

3. Check the amount of feedback (must be a significant number, not 2) and the date since the last feedback was left.

4. If communication isn't being responded to then that can be suspicious activity.

5. Also, if more than one person contacts you about collection, always refund paypal and make sure that they pay cash on delivery.

This is from my experience of selling on ebay - i hope you find it useful.
